Android is the Leading Mobile Operating system in Nigeria but Sadly , Nigerian Apps are not popular. If I should conduct a survey , I wouldn’t be surprised to know that 70% of Nigerians don’t use local apps.
Inspite of this , there are still some awesome Nigerian Apps that deserve your attention. I have combed the web for local apps and I bring to you , Top Nigerian apps you should download.
Orbi is one idea I really fell in love with. This social network allows you communicate via 9 seconds voice notes called “Orbs”. You don’t need to type , just record your voice note , sent it to your chatmate and he will also reply you via a voice note. That’s how it works.
•Okadabooks
I love reading books but these days , I don’t have time to visit a bookshop. This is where okadabooks comes handy.
Okada books give me access to hundreds of books right on my smartphone. The interesting part is that I can pay for anybook without leaving my sitting room ; very convenient for me.

Crocodile Is a web browser that allows you to surf your favourite websites. I like the user interface , but more work needs to be done to make it neater and more attractive.

Whizapp is designed to test and improve your skills in Arithmetic Maths. This app has series of training modules and levels which must be completed within 60seconds. Whizapp tests ability to think fast with limited time at hand.
• HowFar
Howfar is a free messaging service that allows you connect , chat and share photos with people around you.
This app searches people nearby and presents you with and opportunity to connect with your neighbours.
•Topup Genie
Topup Genie allows your buy recharge cards online without using your MasterCard.
This app requires you to signup and then fund your account via your MasterCard. You will then be able to buy Recharge cards directly from your Topup genie account without having to use your MasterCard .
